Obviously there's need for multi-touch, especially if you want to be able to manipulate two, or more, objects at the same time. However I'd prefer to use single-touch gestures where possible, freeing my other hand to do other tasks. So I propose single touch gestures on multi-touch tables to be able to do multiple things at the same time.

Also I wanted to demonstrate that even with current single touch interfaces, which are still the most common touch-interface, it is possible to have a good interface. There is no reason that the current set of PDAs and smartphones can not have an interface that comes near that of the iPhone.

I like your demonstration of manipulating objects using physics.

Two handed interaction IS useful for many things, such as tasks related to editing photographs or playing a musical application on the table.

I think the multi touch turning motion would be easier to do with fingers from two hands, rather than a few fingers on one hand.

I would like to have the option of using both of my hands on a table surface. I'm tired of pointing, clicking, and menus!
